... My first memory of school is September 1991. The schoolyard was full of dressed-up children of all ages, and each kid had a bouquet of flowers to give to a teacher. Everyone was excited; the festive atmosphere seemed to overwhelm not only children, but also their parents and teachers, who had already seen dozens of school lineups. I was a seven-year-old girl with giant white bows on my ponytails and an even bigger than myself bouquet of flowers, which I brought for HER, my first teacher. SHE turned out to be a beautiful young woman who struck me with kind, big eyes and a waist-length black plait. From that moment I knew that my heart belonged to her. ********* My first memory of learning a foreign language is associated with another teacher - a thin old lady with a short haircut and sharp gray eyes. I (an 11-year-old child, proud of myself that I did my homework without mistakes) went up to her and told her that I really liked foreign languages and wanted to learn them all and become a teacher. In response, I heard: "You????. You will NEVER be able to master a language or become a teacher!" So, here I am…… ************* Dear students, let me introduce myself. My name is Jane and I am a Professional Teacher with more than 15 years of experience in teaching foreign languages. ****** Why did I choose to teach foreign languages? Out of contradictious spirit, I guess. That old lady never knew of my success but I didn’t need it. Every day I make the world a bit more educated and I think this is my Teaching Purpose. My long term goal is Not to discourage learners. If I were to choose a motto for my students, it would be YOU CAN. However, this is the phrase I keep saying to them every lesson. My short term goal is to make every student come out of my classroom with one more new English word, one more grammar rule or at least with a smile. ************************* I have been giving private face-to-face and group lessons since 2007 and used to be a school teacher with up to 30 children in my classroom. *************** I teach foreign languages (English, Italian, Russian, and German) to people who need them for travel, business, or communication. I pay individual attention to each of my students and create the educational program according to their knowledge level. Since I speak 4 languages, I can back up my Italian, German and Russian students and explain some things to them in their native language. ***************** I am a hardworking professional and a skilled teacher who loves her job - Bachelor of Education (diploma with distinction), Master of Arts in Linguistics (diploma with distinction, thesis "Psycho-Linguistic Peculiarities of Synchronous and Asynchronous Communication in Online Teaching"), TESOL, virtual teacher certificate, GBC trainer, mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer. Besides, I work as a CRM/KAM at a freight forwarding company, which means that not only am I able to teach a foreign language but also I can give my students some practical advice because sending business e-mails, giving presentations, and negotiating is part of my daily routine. I am a mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer. ************ I'll try my best to show you how great and interesting Language Learning is, and I hope that with my help you will be able to improve your English and become passionate language learners because Passion fuels Proficiency! ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** ...
